One of the most versatile optical in Nikon, although the most purist of focal fixed lens will have to say some or enough things against the zoom, I should say that their resolution and flexibility is quite decent and that it completes more than enough for what a photographer can expect from an objective of that price. With the DX Nikon format cameras becomes a 27 - 300mm, and it is not really bad. In the digital world, do not worry so much about the F:5,6. Because that 5,6 aperture to 100 ISO become in 4 to 200 ISO and in a 2,8 to 400 ISO, and the noise generated 400 ISO digitally in almost any DSLR Nikon is worthless, but if still, do we find that noise exists (?), we can use any noise reduction software or Nikon Captures 4 that is phenomenal. VR allows so surprising things as to shoot by hand with speeds of 1/20 or 1/30, and for who is very steady, even at 1/15. And if theme is worthwhile (the theme is always more important than technique) and we are still short, we select automatic ISO or elevate it manually up to 1600 and we can resolve a status without tripod that in another moment would be impossible The construction is solid and has good tact. The focus is quick, really silent and quite precise, and it possesses AF override, you can refocus by hand without disabling AF. VR puts it in "ON" and "NORMAL" for general photography. We must select "ACTIVE" if we will shoot inside a vehicle in movement. If we use a monopod, we will put it in "ON" and "NORMAL", on the other hand, if what we will use is a tripod, we should disable it (VR OFF). At 27mm has some distortion in small barrel, perfectly controlled, but any objective of these features that doesn't have it doesn't exist. And has a very easy solution. At 200mm the resolution falls a little, but it continues inside some limits, higher than most objectives in this sector. Images can be obtained hand held as this. The shot data have been: focal length 120mm; 1/10 seg of speed and f/5,3; sensibility 400 ISO; VR ON AND NORMAL.
In summary, you can use an objective as unique if you go on a trip and not want to load with a lot of team, excepting the wider focals, 10 or 12 mm, and the very long teles for wild animals. Moreover, we can add that the images quality will not disappoint you © 2008 Juan Parménides. Derechos Reservados. All Rights Reserved |
